Letter From Our President
I’m Bailey, President of the Gamma Beta Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma, and I’d like to welcome you to our website.
Sisterhood that lasts a lifetime, scholarship, inspiration, service, opportunities for leadership, genuine support, giving back to the community, and life-long loyalty are just a few values that come to mind when I think of Kappa Kappa Gamma. In the fall of 2015, I remember anxiously completing my recruitment experience with Preference Night at the beautiful Kappa Kastle, and watching the Seniors recount their memories through laughs and tears. Little did I know the next day I would gain not only best friends, but a forever home.
I am honored, humbled and excited to represent and lead the Gamma Beta chapter as the 2018 Chapter President and strive to uphold Kappa Kappa Gamma as our founders did in 1870. Over the course of my time here, I have created irreplaceable memories, excelled and been constantly supported in academics, given back to the community, and have learned how to become a leader. Above it all, the women in Gamma Beta have made my experience unforgettable. I could have never asked for a better group to inspire me, support me, teach me, and help me to become the best version of myself.
Our mission statement embodies my feelings best:
“Kappa Kappa Gamma is an organization of women, which seeks for every member throughout her life bonds of friendships, mutual support, opportunities for self-growth, respect for intellectual development, and an understanding of an allegiance to positive ethical principles.”
Our website offers a place to locate information on almost every aspect of our sisterhood, ranging from Chapter officers, to Chapter events, to philanthropy endeavors. I encourage you to look around and see everything Gamma Beta has to offer.
