Chapter Philanthropy

Aside from our national philanthropy, we also have our own philanthropic events that we put together as a chapter! We also support the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation. The Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation provides Confidential Aid (Rose McGill and Holiday Sharing), Scholarships (both undergraduate and graduate), as well as support of our two museums: The Heritage Museum, located at Kappa Headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, and The Stewart House, the original home of founder Minnie Stewart, located in Monmouth, Ill.  Our two signature Philanthropy events are Kappa Klassic, a golf tournament to benefit the UNM Children’s Hospital, and Kappa Kakes, which is a pancake breakfast that benefits RIF and the Kappa Foundation. Another event we are involved with on campus is LoboTHON. This event raises money for UNM Children's Hospital through a 13 hour dance marathon. This year we were able to help raise over $95,000 all for the kids! For more info on this event, click the link below:

This year we had the pleasure of being selected to include a new program as a part of our philanthropy events called GIRLS Academy. Both our active members and alumna came together for a day and a half long retreat that provided long-lasting mentorship for middle school girls within our community.
